the Fair President … |
On
behalf of the Fair Committee, welcome to the
2009 Great Pocomoke Fair. The Committee has
again worked hard to plan displays and events
and attract vendors for the entire family to
enjoy. Kids Games, Harness Racing, Indoor exhibits,
Antique tractor pulling, the Horse show and
Fireworks are again part of the 2009 program.
Work is underway to bring the Talent Show back
to the Fair schedule.
The Fair Committee has had an exciting year
leading up to the Fair with Lawnmower Races
and the 5th Annual East Coast Pullers Tractor
Pull. Thanks to Russ Merritt, the Fair website
continues to be a great source of information
for Fair participants as well as the attendees
of our other events.
We continue to look for volunteers and for ways
to make the Fair and all our events better.
We are open to suggestions. If you would like

Notice to Baked Goods Exhibitors
| The
Great Pocomoke Fair Committee reserves the right
to utilize recipes submitted with cake, pie,
bread, cookie and candy entries for future publication
as a booklet of “blue ribbon entries”
from the Fair. |
